Assigning ZZZ Characters Nationalities and Ethnicities
note:
- for the sake of consistency “New Eridu” as a nation is considered to be natively ‘American’ despite it largely being a combination of traits from cities like Shanghai, New York City, Chicago, etc., as I feel it encompasses the true "cultural hub" status that it has in-game. It is true however, that for the most part it takes most of its cultural influence from Shanghai (down to the extravagant city-wide celebrations of events like Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival).
- theoretically all of them would be various flavours of 'naturalized' if they all lived and worked in the same city like in-game, but this list is under the pretense that "New Eridu" as it's portrayed doesn't exist.
"No no no, it's fine. I just didn't think it'd be Chinese, that's all."
